My breakfast: Since I fast during the morning, I only prefer having a cup of black coffee.
My lunch: I can have anything for lunch and it usually is the heaviest meal for the day. My plate comprises of a serving of daal, rice, vegetable sabzi with two multigrain chapatis and a bowl of yoghurt. Sometimes, I have eggs.
Evening Snack: Green tea/ Coffee
My dinner: I used to wrap up dinner by 7 p.m. on most days. However, it’s always kept light. I choose between a glass of milk, with some dry fruits or oats. Sometimes, eggs and protein shakes are what I have for dinner.
For my cheat days, I like to have pizza, wine, homemade egg biryani, chole bhature.
Pre-workout meal: I used to workout first thing in the morning before my kids woke up. So, I just have some water before exercising.
Post- workout meal: One glass of lukewarm water with some lemon juice and one cup of coffee.
My workout: My workout is a mix of many exercise forms, including yoga and HIIT workouts. I would start by doing a session of power yoga, including Surya Namaskar and some advanced asanas. Later, I would move on to do HIIT, which would include jumping jacks, burpees, mountain climbers, star jumps. Since I am a dancer as well, I also used to practice that. Of course, if you include running after my two kids, that can count as exercise too 🙂
Low-calorie recipes I swear by: I eat everything but in limited portions.
