It has been a little over a month since Apple launched its latest iPhone lineup and in this holiday quarter, the two expensive iPhones are going to find more buyers as compared to the two affordable models of 2020.
According to a report by 9to5Mac, popular tipster Ming Chi Kuo has said that the demand for iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max is better than expected and that is apparently “setting slightly–weaker sell-through of 12 and 12 mini.”
Kuo also spoke about other recently launched Apple products as well. When it comes to the new iPad Air, Kuo said that the demand for that has been strong and hinted that the future iPads will come with mini-LED displays and 5G cellular connectivity.
Strong demand has also been reported for both recently launched wearables — Apple Watch Series 6 and Apple Watch SE — as well as Apple’s first ARM Macs.
The only Apple product that Kuo has said negatively about is the AirPods. As per the report, Kuo has suggested lower than originally estimated shipments with a 5-10% fall in year-over-year sales for a period of 6 months.
Predicting about the next models of MacBooks and Apple Watch Series, Kuo has said that the Cupertino-based tech giant may introduce new form factor and industrial design — both of which are expected to be launched in 2021.
